Learn to communicate visually. This course is designed for people who wish to communicate with the hearing impaired – also great for community and healthcare professionals. At first, we’ll get acquainted with the manual alphabet (finger-spelling) and the most commonly used signs. Through demonstration and practice you will soon develop the ability to converse using basic sign language as well as gain insight into deaf culture. For 15 years to Adult. Book is required – approx. cost is $15.
