DATABASE AND DESIGN
 
 
 
MICROSOFT ACCESS - FUNDAMENTALS

This course introduces you to the functionality of a database. You will create Tables, Forms, Queries and Reports. You will be working with multiple tables and explore the relationship process as well as importing Excel worksheets into Access. We will cover using toolbox objects such as command buttons and drop-down combo boxes. Students should be familiar with Windows, but no database experience is required.

CRYSTAL REPORTS – FUNDAMENTALS  

Learn to build basic list and group reports that will work with any database. We’ll give you step by step, hands on instruction with grouping report data, building formulas, formatting reports, creating pie charts and distributing your data. Students should have taken our Access Fundamentals course or have equivalent database experience. Book required - approx. $98.

CRYSTAL REPORTS - INTERMEDIATE

Now that we’ve covered the basics, we’ll move into more customization with our reports. This intermediate class covers creating running totals, building cross-tabs, adding sub reports, creating drill-downs, SQL statements, charting, reporting on excel data, working with prompts, and enhancing report functionality. Book required - approx. $98.
