CREATIVE CUPCAKES NEW Kids will get hands on instruction in the art
of cupcake decorating. We’ll learn the
proper way to ice cupcakes and create
stars, lines, leaves and rosettes. For
Beginners and up; Students should bring
an apron, scissors, handi-wipes and a
container to bring their cupcakes home.
For ages 8 - 12.
Supply kit cost approx $8.

NEW SESSION OPEN: Date/Time: July 14, Mon, 9:30 - 11:30 am INTRODUCTION TO BAKING Students will have hands on instruction in the fundamentals of bakeshop. Students will learn about the basic ingredients: flour, sugar, eggs, milk, butter and flavorings. Recipes cover a variety of biscuits, muffins, pancakes, rolls, and loaves. Cooks of all levels welcome.

of Cajun cooking alive through our children. Children will get
hands on experience in preparing simple Cajun dishes with “a
side of Cajun Culture”. They will learn the vocabulary of cooking,
safety and sanitation in the kitchen, and also sample the food
they prepared.
For ages 10 - 16. BEGINNER DESSERTS & PASTRY MAKING Kids will get hands on instruction in the Art of Dessert and Pastry making. From after school snack ideas to holiday desserts, students will learn how to prepare homemade cookies, pies, cakes and specialty pastries. Holiday recipes will cover Christmas, Easter, Birthdays/Parties, July 4th, Halloween, and Mardi Gras. For Beginners and up; Students are required to bring hat and apron.

INTERNATIONAL COOKING Explore the different cuisines of the world. Students will journey into the art of cooking by preparing dishes from Italy, British Isles, China, Mexico, India, Caribbean Islands, Australia and South America. Students will be given a brief history and common cooking methods of each region. After cooking the dishes, students will be able to taste and enjoy the foods they prepared. All cooks welcome from beginner to advanced.

a full Italian meal as we explore the history and
culture of regional Italian cooking. Class will
include the art of making fresh pasta and a
dazzling array of sauces. Dishes include ravioli,
brushetta, foccacia, baked ziti and meatballs and spaghetti.
For ages 10-16.
